There are calls for gardaí and Kerry County Council to combat anti-social behaviour in Killarney.
Councillor Donal Grady says a local feud in the town, coupled with anti-social behaviour in areas, is giving Killarney a bad name.
He claims in one estate three families are engaging in anti-social and threatening behaviours, and it’s making their neighbours’ lives a misery.
The Independent councillor says residents have come to him, saying they’re living in fear and want to be relocated to another estate.
Councillor Grady adds he’s written a letter to gardaí and Kerry County Council on the issue, however, he doesn’t believe moving the perpetrators of the anti-social behaviour to another estate is the answer.
