British nursing home looks to expand in Ireland

A British nursing home chain backed by Denis Brosnan is looking to expand into this country. The barchester chain, owned by a number of businessmen including Brosnan is actively seeking to enter the Irish market. The company now has a full time development director based in Dublin.In a report in today’s Irish Times the Chief Executive of the group Mark Parsons says they are talking to a number of significant property companies. Barchester provides residential care for the young, elderly and disabled people. The company is backed by Denis Brosnan, Dermot Desmond, John Magnier and JP Mc Manus.
