Breastcheck campaigners take part in Dail protest

Campaigners for the extension of breastcheck to Kerry have taken their cause to the Dail today. They’re part of a protest being attended by people from all over the south and west of the country. They’re demanding the immediate rollout of the breast screening service to Kerry.It follows months of public campaigning in the county. Members of the “Breastcheck For Kerry Now” campaign are handing over a petition with 22 thousand signatures to the Minister for Health Mary Harney. Breda Walsh is one of those outside the Dail.
