Basketball Ireland Suspends All Fixtures Due To Coronavirus

Garveys Tralee Warriors will have to wait a bit longer to play their final Superleague game of the season which is a potential title-winning fixture against CandS Neptune.

The game was scheduled for this Saturday night but Basketball Ireland has instructed all affiliates to suspend all competitions and events with immediate effect as a precaution to limit the spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19.

The defending champions Garveys Tralee Warriors sit three points ahead of Belfast Star going into the final game subject to the possible deduction of six points over the issue of the registration of Andre Berry.

Keane’s Supervalu Killorglin’s fixture away to Moycullen in the Superleague and Scotts Lakers St Paul’s Killarney versus Limerick Sports Eagles in Men’s Division One have also been postponed.
