Barcelona Well Beaten By PSG

Barcelona are on the verge of a shock early exit in the Champions League.

Paris Saint Germain produced a sensational display to defeat the 5-time champions by 4 goals to nil in their Round of 16 first leg tie last evening.

Goals from Julian Draxler, Edison Cavani and two from Angel Di Maria gave the French champions a famous win in Paris.

The result means Barcelona will exit the competition in the second round for the first time in 10 years, unless they can overturn a 4-goal deficit in Spain in three weeks time.

Also last evening, Benfica defeated Borussia Dortmund by a goal to nil in Portugal.

Tonight Arsenal go to Bayern Munich and Real Madrid host Napoli.

Both of those matches kick off at 7.45.

In the Championship there were 11 games in total down for decision.

Newcastle United remain top of the table, despite a 2-all draw away to Norwich.

That’s because promotion rivals Brighton could only manage a 1-1 draw at home to Mick McCarthy’s Ipswich Town.

Third-placed Huddersfield are now just four points off the automatic promotion places following their 3-2 win at bottom side Rotherham.

Playoff rivals Leeds also picked up three points in a 2-1 win at home to Bristol City.
