Ballybunion Development Company to hold emergency meeting

Ballybunion Development Company is to hold an emergency meeting with shareholders, following calls for the board’s resignation. Former chairman Sean Stack says The Board of Directors should stand down as he claims shareholders were not approached about the sale of a major company asset. Doon Church, a 19th century listed building owned by the company, is due to be sold by public auction next week. The guide price is a quarter of a million euro. A spokesperson for the company refused to comment on Mr Stack`s allegations. He says shareholders are being contacted to arrange a date for the meeting.
