Daryl Murphy will lead the Republic of Ireland line for this evening’s Euro qualifier with Scotland. There’s no Shane Long, Robbie Keane, Aiden McGeady or James McClean in the starting eleven. Shay Given starts in goal, Seamus Coleman and Robbie Brady are the full backs, with John O’Shea and Marc Wilson in the centre of defence. It looks like a 3-man midfield of Glenn Whelan, James McCarthy and Jeff Hendrick, with Jon Walters, Wes Hoolahan and Murphy ahead of them. For Scotland, it’s David Marshall in goal, a back four of Alan Hutton, Craig Forsyth, Richard Martin and Charlie Mulgrew; a midfield three of Shaun Maloney, James Morrison and Scott Brown, with Steven Naismith and Matt Ritchie in behind Steven Fletcher.
