Art centre opens for nurses in the ITT

A 10 million euro state of the art centre for nursing students in the county has been opened in The Institute of Technology in Tralee today. More than 300 nursing and other health care students will use the teaching facility at the solas centre. The Tanaiste Mary Harney today officially opened the Tralee nursing and healthcare building in The Institute of Technology Tralee.At almost 3000 square metres the complex includes auditoria, training hospital wards, function rooms, classrooms and staff offices. The building was the first capital project to be managed by the institute under a devolved budget approach, where the institute was directly responsible for ensuring it was completed within time and budget.
