Ardfert shop broken into for the third time in recent months

Gardaí are appealing to the public not to buy cigarettes from unusual sources, after a shop in Ardfert was broken into for the third time in recent months. garda badge The break-in at Collins’ shop at Church Street, happened between 5.30 and 7.30 on Thursday evening. Cash and cigarettes were stolen in the raid, after the cigarette machine on the premises was broken and emptied. Garda Lynda Brosnan believes those responsible may try to sell the cigarettes in the coming days. She appealed to anyone who’s offered the cigarettes for sale, or has information about the incident,  to contact Tralee Gardaí.
