Archaeologists examine possable prehistoric city

Archaeologists hope to establish the age of a popular religious site near Rathmore, which many believe dates back to the Bronze Age. Carbon samples have been taken from the site of the shrine, known as the city, which is located at the foothills of the Paps Mountains. Frank Coyne of Agis archaeology which carried out the excavation says the samples will be sent to a laboratory in The US, where they will be carbon dated. He says, till then, it`s too early to say if the city is prehistoric.
