Aquadome reports profits of €200,000 for 2004

A proposal to pay Executive Directors at The Aquadome is to be presented to shareholders at their AGM later this month. The company is reporting a profit of almost 200,000 euro for 2004, an increase of around 60,000 euro on the previous year. In its annual financial statement to the end of April the company shows a turnover of 1.3 million euro. This year The Aquadome celebrated 10 years in operation and The Chairman Denis Reen says the facility has played a major part in attracting visitors to the area.He says they are looking at ways of developing the business further. Key to this is a parcel of land purchased by the company adjacent to their current facilities. According to Mr Reen, The Board has devoted a significant amount of time and energy towards a plan for the area and this will be progressed over the coming months. This matter as well as The Financial position of the company will be discussed at The AGM later this month. Shareholders will also be asked to approve a payment for Executive Directors in recognition of their hard work and commitment to the company.
