A West Kerry woman is looking for help in locating her missing bird.

Andi Chewning, who works at Kingdom Falconry in Dingle, has been raising Orion, a four-and-a-half-month-old common raven at her home in Lispole.

As part of the bird's training, he was released for a flight on Saturday but he has failed to return home.

Andi says the tracker attached to Orion is not working and, as he has been raised in captivity, he will not be aware of dangers such as predators and vehicles.

She says Orion has some distinctive features on his legs which will help identify him:

If you have seen Orion the raven, please contact gardaí in Dingle or your local vet who will pass the details on to Andi.
