Anthony Daly To Work With Limerick Next Season

Limerick GAA Former Clare and Dublin manager Anthony Daly will work with Limerick next season. The two time All-Ireland winning captain has agreed to take-up the role of Director of Limerick’s Underage Hurling Academy. As part of the position, Daly will also act as team coach to the Limerick Minors and will form part of manager Leo O’Connor’s backroom team. Presentation of the Munster GAA Club Grants will take place tonight at 7.30 in Cordal GAA Club and the grant recipients will be announced on the night. The presentations will be made by Provincial chairman Robert Frost. Last week the Munster GAA Council announced details of the 2014 Development Grant Scheme, with Kerry clubs to benefit to the tune of €154,500. In all there are 15 Kerry clubs and 1 school receiving a grant. Kerry Clubs spent over €1m in the purchase, development and upgrading of their facilities in 2013.
