Trained in Tipperary by Paddy Twomey, Ruler Of France was prominent throughout and dug really deep in the closing stages under a strong ride from Kennedy to beat Shes No Joke by a head. Ruler Of France was returned at odds of 9-2. Todays home card is at Naas and Dermot Weld has won the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Naas Oaks Trial for two of the last three years and he relies upon Variable this evening as he attempts to continue his dominance of the Listed prize which is worth €55,000 in prize-money. The seven-race card begins at 6pm and the going is good to firm. Cross chanell, Carlisle is Good, good to firm in places with a 2pm start. Salisbury is Good to Firm and off at 2.10. Worcester is Good, good to firm in places and away at 2.20 Bath is Firm with a 6.10 start. Kempton is Standard with the opener at 6.20.
