It’s the start of another big European weekend for the Irish provinces. Leinster and Connacht will the first into action. Leinster say that close to 40-thousand tickets have been sold ahead of their make-or-break European Champions Cup match-up against Harlequins. After a narrow defeat at the Twickenham Stoop last Sunday, Leinster have to win tonight’s Pool 2 clash in order to keep their qualification chances on-track. That Pool 2 contest will kick-off tonight at 7:45 while the other game in the group will see leaders Exeter host La Rochelle from 3pm. Among today’s other Challenge Cup matches will see Bernard Jackman’s Grenoble side travel to Italy to play Rovigo in Pool 1. Bath claimed a bonus-point 32-12 victory over Montpellier in the European Champions Cup.
