Almost 15,500 people land on Skellig Michael in 2018

The number of people who landed on Skellig Michael this year decreased compared to 2017.

During the 2018 season, 15,472 visitors landed on the UNESCO World Heritage site.

Over the course of the previous season, almost 17,000 people visited the island.


The island is now closed and boat trips will begin again next May.
