All-Ireland Hurling Qualifiers Confirmed For Semple Stadium

The GAA has confirmed that the Round 2 of the hurling qualifiers will be played back-to-back at Semple Stadium. Both matches will take place on Saturday evening, with Dublin versus Limerick first-up at 5pm. That game will be followed by the all Munster-clash between Cork and Clare at 7pm. Meanwhile, Round 2B of the football qualifiers will begin on Saturday. Derry and Wexford will throw in at 2 o’clock at Owenbeg. They’ll be underway three-quarters of an hour later at Semple Stadium where Tipperary take on Louth in a curtain-raiser to the hurling. While there’s a 3 o’clock start at Healy Park where Tyrone face Meath. The other round 2-B qualifier comes on Sunday at the Athletic Grounds where Armagh and Galway commence battle from 3. Work at Pearse Park has forced Longford’s round 3-A qualifier with Kildare to be moved to Cusack Park in Mullingar. That one will throw-in at 7 o’clock on Saturday evening. Brewster Park will host Fermanagh’s 3-A meeting with Roscommon at 3.30 on Sunday afternoon.
