Alcohol may be banned on match trains.

A spokesperson for Iarnrod Eireann says they will review the issue of allowing alcohol on Kerry match trains in the future. Andrew Roche is responding to an incident where 30 teenagers went on a drinking spree on the Kerry /Dublin match train at the weekend. Staff on the train were forced to call the Gardai to caution the group.As a result of the incident Iarnrod Eireann are reviewing their policy to serve drink on match trains. Staff on the train are compiling a report and a meeting will be held on Thursday to examine the situation. Andrew Roche says it may be necessary to ban alcohol to stop these people from using match trains.
