7 O’Clock Start Confirmed For Kerry-Cork Replay

7 o’clock has been confirmed as the starting time for the Munster Senior Football Final replay. Kerry and Cork are to meet again on Saturday July 18th in Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney. Maurice Deegan of Laois will take charge of the replay, but it remains uncertain if the game will be televised. Kerry’s Padraig O’Sulivan has been appointed as referee for Sunday week’s Connacht Senior Football Final. There’s bad news for the Limerick hurlers and Tipperary footballers ahead of this weekend’s qualifiers. The Shannonsiders will be without corner back Tom Condon for their clash with Dublin in Thurles. Condon received a collarbone injury during last Sundays win over Westmeath. Meanwhile, the Tipp footballers will have to do without George Hannigan. The midfielder aggravated a groin injury in their defeat to Kerry and misses the game against Louth. Dublin footballer Davey Byrne has been released from hospital after fracturing his eye socket and breaking his nose in a behind closed doors challenge match with Armagh last Thursday. According to the Evening Herald the incident happened before the game started. Byrne is now out of Sundays Leinster final against Westmeath in Croke park.
