The Department of Health has been notified of 6 additional COVID-19 related deaths this evening.
The Department has also reported 269 new cases of the virus.
88 are in Dublin, 42 in Cork, 25 in Limerick, 20 in Louth and 16 in Donegal and the remaining 79 cases are spread across 17 other counties.
Kerry has 5 new cases.
The 14-day incidence rate per 100,000 people in Kerry has dropped to 52.8, the second lowest rate in the country.
That figure nationally is 105.5.
