5,000 people walked the Dingle Way from July to September this year.
The Dingle Way committee are running four information and training days beginning tomorrow in Annascaul.
It is aimed at people with services like accommodation or restaurants along the Dingle Way to help develop a network to benefit both walkers and local businesses.
The Dingle Way is a 179-kilometre route from Tralee to Slea Head.
Dingle Way Walks Officer, Liadain Slattery says the route supports local businesses while having a low environmental impact.
She says there is huge scope to develop walking tourism in the future and we are only just tipping the iceberg when it comes to its potential:
