400 Kerry students to be affected by restricted bus service

Up to 400 students in Kerry living on the catchment boundary of their schools will be affected by the restricted school bus services while improvements are being made. Kerry Education Service notified the parents of students concerned on Monday and since then have received 60 phone calls from anxious parents.In a statement to Radio Kerry News the Kerry Education Service says it will forward a report outlining difficulties raised by parents to the Department Of Education at the end of this week. According to the department children living outside the catchment boundary may travel on the bus subject to seats being available after all eligible children have been accommodated.
