390 new COVID-19 cases, no new deaths and 4 new cases in Kerry

390 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported to the Department of Health, more than double last Monday’s total.

The Department has not been informed of any new COVID-19 related deaths in the past 24 hours.

As of midnight on Saturday, there were 4 new cases confirmed in Kerry. The total number of confirmed cases in the county is now at 384.

209 cases are in Dublin, 27 in Cork, 22 in Donegal, 21 in Galway,14 in Kildare, 14 in Monaghan, 7 in Roscommon, Tipperary, Waterford and 7 in Wexford.

6 new cases were reported in Limerick, and Longford while there were 5 each in Laois, Meath, Offaly and Sligo, with the remaining 23 cases in 8 counties.

A quarter of all new cases of Covid-19 in the last two weeks have been among younger people aged between 15 and 24.
