Over 380 people working in Kerry Garda Division

There are over 380 people working in the Kerry Garda Division.

That’s according to figures from the Justice Minister Charlie Flanagan, who was responding to Dáil questions from TDs Maurice Quinlivan and Jim O’Callaghan.

The figures show there are 325 gardaí in the Kerry division, nine of whom are community gardaí; there were also 20 Garda Reserves.

In addition, there are 36 civilian staff working in the Kerry Garda Division – 15 are based at Tralee Garda Station, the divisional headquarters; there are eight in Killarney, six in Listowel, three in Castleisland, and one each in Ballybunion, Caherciveen, Dingle and Killorglin.
