36 patients on trolleys in UHK

36 patients are on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation says 455 people are waiting for beds in hospitals around the country.

The most overcrowded location is University Hospital Limerick where 55 people are on trolleys.

It has been a busy week in UHK’s Emergency Department with 136 patients recorded on trolleys since Monday.
