35 Travellers set up camp on GAA property

A Sinn Fein Councillor says it`s not the responsibility of the local community in Clounmacon to clean up the area after up to 35 travellers set up camp on the property belonging to the local GAA club. Gardai in Listowel have told the occupiers of the caravans that they have until this evening to move off the property.Councillor Anthony Curtin says they have been on the land for the last month. He says he would be concerned that the group will move onto more private property. The Listowel Town Councillor describes the current state of the grounds of the property.
