27 patients on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry

27 patients are waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry’s Emergency Department today.

That’s according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.

University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded with 47 patients on trolleys, while there are 22 at Cork University Hospital.

Nationally, there are 369 patients waiting on trolleys in hospitals today.

This is a decrease of 10% on the same day last year when there were 421 patients on trolleys.
