236 Kerry people volunteering for next weekend’s World Meeting of Families

Nearly 240 Kerry people have signed up as volunteers for next weekend’s World Meeting of Families.

The Bishop of Kerry Ray Browne is urging everyone to participate in next weekend’s event, which will also see the visit of Pope Francis to Ireland.

He says 236 people from the Kerry diocese have signed up as volunteers and 130 are rehearsing as part of the choir at the final mass.

Over 11,000 people from 116 countries will be coming to Ireland for the five-day event, which begins on Wednesday.
