200 landowners to attend meeting in Castleisland

Almost 200 landowners whose lands are to be taken over by the National Roads Authority are expected to attend a meeting in Castleisland this evening. The ICMSA says the meeting is organised to give landowners advice on how to get the best price for their land. The national roads authority are taking lands over by compulsory purchase order to allow for the building of four new roads in the county. These are the 2 new bypasses in Tralee as well as the planned castleisland bypass and the New Farranfore, Killarney road. The meeting starts in the river island hotel at 8.30pm.
