20 Kerry hotels participate in Killarney conference

Up to 20 hotels from across the county are participating in a conference in Killarney this afternoon aimed at reducing their impact on the environment. The conference is being organised by the Irish Hotel and Catering Institute which is promoting energy management within the industry. Chief Executive Adrian Cummins says they have secured 300,000 euro in funding from the EPA to run a cleaner greener hotels programme. He says businesses can reduce their energy costs by participating in the programme.
