Water Supplies that are currently on a precautionary Boil Water Notice, remain so until further notice. Aras an Contae, Kerry County Council A further two supplies have been issued with Boil Water Notices, Castlegregory and Caherdaniel Boil Water Notices have been removed from Kenmare Town, Barraduff and Annascaul. The following water supplies still have a precautionary Boil Water Notice attached. Further updates will issue throughout the day. Breanlee (covering the area south of Killorglin) Area covering Kenmare to Lauragh (including both sides of Kenmare Bay) Sneem West Kerry: All water supplies west of Annascaul & Castlegregory . (Dingle town is not affected) Ballinskelligs The Glen Emlaghpeasta Mountain Stage Glenbeigh Caragh Lake Shrone Rathmore Castlegregory Caherdaniel In the interest of public health, it is recommended that all users on these schemes boil the water before use. Boiled Water should be used for: Drinking Drinks made with water Food preparation Brushing of teeth Making of ice Preparation of baby feeds (Bottled water should not be used to prepare baby feeds unless it is stated clearly on the bottle that it is safe to do so. Bring water to a rolling boil (eg: with an electric kettle) and allow to cool Cover water and store in a refrigerator or cold place Unboiled water can be used for personal hygiene (except brushing teeth), bathing and flushing toilets. Caution should be taken when bathing children to ensure they do not ingest the water. If you know of consumers who are unaware of this notice, please bring it to their attention, or else advise us. We should also be advised of elderly or disabled persons who may require special assistance.
