17.5 million funding announced for Kerry roads

The county has been included in a restoration scheme for non national roads. The scheme is aimed at bringing Kerry`s roads up to the national standard. It comes as part of a 17.5 million euro funding announcement for the county. The allocations have been welcomed by minister john o Donohue and Deputy Thomas McEllistrim. Cathaoirleach Ned O Sullivan says there is an overall increase of up to 7% and this is good news for the county.
