14 Kerry food producers are shortlisted in this year’s Blas na hEireann awards.
The awards celebrate and reward the best tasting Irish food and drink products and those who produce them.
Organisers have been working since March to ensure Blas 2020 goes ahead in a safe manner; judging took place in Dingle and via satellite at other locations around Ireland.
The award winners will be announced on October 3rd on the Blas na hEireann website and social media channels.
The finalists shortlisted from Kerry across a range of different categories are Camos Artisan Foods, Dingle Goats Cheese, Kennedy’s Butchers, Kerry Kefir, Knockatee Natural Dairy, Muckross Creamery, Quinlans Kerry Fish, Wellness Baking Listowel Ltd., Dingle Distillery, Dingle Goats Cheese, Kerry Cow Farm Ltd (Kells Bay Cheese), Micilín Muc, O Sullivans Bakery and Quinlans Kerry Fish.
Chairperson of the awards, Artie Clifford says it is more essential now to recognise the talented producers all over the country:
