120 per cent increase in number of Kerry patients on trolleys in a year

There’s been a 120% increase in the number of patients on trolleys in Kerry General Hospital in a year. Kerry General Hospital That’s according to the latest data from the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation. It shows in May 2014 77 patients had to wait on trolleys. That figure rose to 169 in the same month this year. The analysis shows that in May 2009 there were just 11 patients on trolleys.
