106,000 euro funding for Killorglin amenity park

South Kerry Development logo Funding of almost 106 thousand euro has been granted for the construction of an amenity park and children’s play area in Killorglin. South Kerry Development Partnership agreed to fund the project at An Bhainseach Estate Killorglin. It follows the transfer of half an acre worth 40,000 euro to An Bhainseach Estates Ltd by Kerry County Council last November. The community raised 8000 euro towards the construction of the facility. Cllr Michael Cahill who worked closely with the community says the project is important for the area as there are up to 130 children living in the estate.
