1,000 Tesco workers, including Manor West Tralee, to go on strike tomorrow

A thousand Tesco workers at nine stores across the country, including Manor West Tralee, are due to go on strike tomorrow, in a dispute over proposed wage cuts.

A further nine stores will join the strike on Friday, over cuts that would affect 250 workers who have been employed for more than 20 years.

The trade union Mandate, which represents ten thousand Tesco workers, says it’s not too late to avoid strike action.
