Workers at Bons Secours Hospital agree to strike

Hospital workers in Tralee have voted for industrial action. Clerical and administrative staff at The Bon Secours Hospital have agreed to strike. 22 workers are involved and they all belong to Trade Union SIPTU. Almost 60 other SIPTU workers at the Bon Secours are not involved but will be consulted. SIPTU says the row arose from the failure of hospital management to adhere to normal industrial relations procedures in the processing of grievances.
