Witness describes scene as car crashes into building in Tralee

Tralee Gardaí say it’s fortunate that no one was injured after a car crashed into a busy building in Tralee town centre at lunchtime. Car crashes into EBS building, Russell Street, Tralee - March 2nd, 2016 Just before 2 o’clock, a car collided into the front of the EBS office on Russell Street. Staff and customers were in the office but neither they, the driver nor any pedestrians were injured. A man in his thirties has been arrested and is being questioned by Tralee Gardaí following the crash. A dark coloured BMW crashed into the EBS building on Russell Street. Damage has been done to the door and window of the building but no one’s been injured. Gardaí have seized the vehicle and will carry out a technical examination. The street was closed for a short time. Gardaí say it’s fortunate there was no pedestrian near the building.
