Winners of Listowel Food Fair Bord Bia Quality Mark Schools Competition

The winners of the Bord Bia Quality Mark Schools Competition at this year’s Listowel Food Fair have been announced.

Jessica Kenny and Shauna Casey of Causeway Comprehensive School won the junior competition.

Meanwhile, Laura Twomey, Shantelle Blackburn and Laney Clancy of Listowel Presentation Convent were the winners of the senior category.

Students were asked to create a healthy everyday recipe using food products with the Bord Bia Quality Mark.

Festival Chairman, Jimmy Deenihan says the competition has created further knowledge, education and brand awareness of the Bord Bia Quality Mark among the next generation.
