Status yellow wind warning in place for Kerry

Met Éireann has issued a status yellow wind warning for Kerry.

The warning is in place until 4 o’clock this afternoon.

It’s predicted wind gusts could reach 110km per hour in coastal regions.

Other counties affected include Wexford, Clare, Cork, Limerick and Waterford.

Motorists are asked to exercise caution on roads around the county due to high winds and reports of surface water.
