Warrant issued for arrest of man accused of harrassing Tralee salon workers

A bench warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man accused of harrassing staff at a Tralee hair salon. Gavel 1 Tunisian national, Chaker Tbini with an address at Atlas House, McCowen’s Lane, Tralee is accused of trespassing at Peter Mark, Abbeycourt, Tralee on December 31st last and with harassing employees. A previous court sitting heard that the salon was forced to install security because of Mr Tbini’s intimidation of staff and because he had been abusive and threatening on the premises. Mr Tbini failed to appear at yesterday’s sitting of Tralee District Court. Solicitor Pa Daly said he believed the accused was now residing in Belfast. Inspector Donal Ashe applied for a bench warrant for Mr Tbini’s arrest which was granted by Judge James O’Connor.
