A walk to highlight progress on the Tralee-Fenit Greenway amenity is set to take place this Sunday. While the Tralee Urban section has been completed, the rural section from Tralee to Fenit is yet to be finalised. Kerry County Council received clearance from CIE to develop the publicly owned disused rail line – which is hoped will become a safe off-road route for commuters, families and pedestrians. The walk to highlight Tralee – Fenit Greenway takes place this Sunday, starting at 2.30pm at St Brendan’s Church.
