Vincent de Paul extends its unwanted clothes appeal to Kerry churches

St Vincent de Paul logo The St Vincent de Paul has launched an urgent appeal to the public in Kerry, to donate unwanted clothes in the coming weeks. The charity has taken the unusual step of distributing donation bags at Sunday Masses in some North Kerry churches, starting in the Abbeydorney/Kilflynn parish this weekend. Mark Hussey, who is Regional Retail Manager for the South West, says the society urgently needs good quality adult and children’s clothes, which can be sold in their Kerry shops and turned into cash. He says the whole idea behind the church collection, is to make it easier for people to donate: [audio_player src=””]
