Veteran broadcaster Terry Wogan has died

Terry Wogan Alan Landers Veteran broadcaster Terry Wogan has died after a short illness. The 77 year-old pulled out of hosting Children in Need in November, but it was not widely known he had Cancer. The Limerick man was known for his velvety voice, charm and wit – and enjoyed a 50 year career. It began with RTE, but he was best known for his work with the BBC.
