Valentia Coast Guard advises extreme caution along Kerry coast

Irish-coastguard-300x238 Valentia Coast Guard is advising people to exercise extreme caution along the  coastal areas of the county  after Met Éireann issued a severe weather warning. An Orange alert wind warning is in place for the county as well as Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare and Limerick. Forecasters are predicting wind gusts of up to 130kph. Gusts of 90kph to 100kph can be expected elsewhere. Met Éireann has said that winds of up to 85kph have been recorded in places overnight.
