Up to 100 jobs could be at risk in Tralee as Debenhams goes into examinership

manorto 100 members of staff at Debenhams Tralee are said to be “in shock” following yesterday’s revelation the retail chain’s Irish branches are to go into examinership.   More than 2,000 jobs could be at risk at eleven stores nationwide, including one at Manor West Shopping Centre, Tralee.  The company said it needs to reduce costs, with reports that existing rent arrangements see them paying 25 million euro a year.  Mandate representative Caroline Clifford said staff in are extremely worried about their future.  President of Tralee Chamber Alliance John Drummey said everything must be done to secure these jobs in Tralee.
