UHK staff being briefed on patients’ experience survey

The person in charge of the first national survey of patients’ experience in Irish hospitals is meeting staff at University Hospital Kerry.

Adult patients who’re discharged from hospital this month, who live in the Republic and who stayed longer than 24 hours in care may take part.

Rachel Flynn is HIQA’s director of the National Patients’ Experience Survey.

She says she’ll be briefing staff at University Hospital Kerry about the progress of the survey and getting their views.
