Two men have appeared in court charged in relation to an incident in Dingle involving a waste disposal lorry. The incident happened on July 30th last year when the truck hurtled down Green Street and crashed into the front of the Woolen Store in Holy Ground. The two men appeared before Dingle District Court where they were charged following the incident in which nobody was seriously injured. 44 year old Timothy Harrington of Clonee Lakes, Tousist, Killarney is facing two charges; dangerous driving and having a dangerously defective vehicle. 26 year old Peter Healy of Clonee West, Tousist, Killarney is charged with dangerous driving, having a bald rear tyre and having no brakes. Judge James O’Connor adjourned the case to September 25th at Dingle District Court.
