Tralee winner at Special Olympics touches down at Dublin Airport

A Tralee man who won gold at the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles has touched down in Dublin with the Irish team. brendan o connell crop Brendan O’Connell from Oakview, Tralee took gold in the 800 metre free style swimming event. This is in addition to his fourth place ribbon in the 1,500m open water swimming event. Brendan is 29 years old and a member of the Kerry Stars Special Olympics Club.
