Tralee man wins fourth place ribbon at Special Olympics World Games

A Tralee man has won a fourth place ribbon at the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles. Special Olympics Ireland Squad and Portraits 29 year old Brendan O’Connell from Oakview was competing in the 1,500 metre open water swimming event. Brendan is a member of the Kerry Stars Special Olympics Club and is one of 88 Irish athletes taking part in the event. Team Ireland’s Medal Tally at the end of day five is 33.
